We are proud to announce that Adapt Forward has once again been awarded the HIRE Vets Gold Medallion by the U.S. Department of Labor—marking our second consecutive year receiving this prestigious national honor.

The HIRE Vets Medallion Award is the only federal-level award that recognizes employers who demonstrate exceptional commitment to recruiting, hiring, and retaining veterans. Building on our 2023 Gold Medallion win, this year’s recognition reaffirms our continued dedication to creating career opportunities for those who have served.

To earn the Gold Award, employers must meet or exceed strict benchmarks in:

  • Veteran hiring and retention
  • Career development opportunities tailored for veterans
  • Leadership programming and organizational support for veteran employees

As a veteran-owned business, Adapt Forward understands the value veterans bring—both on the battlefield and in the boardroom. Their leadership, resilience, and mission-first mindset play a vital role in our success as a cybersecurity partner to the U.S. government.

“Hiring veterans isn’t just the right thingto do—it’s the smart thing to do,” said Rich Bowman -CEO. “They bring unmatched skills, experience, and integrity to our team, and we’re proud to be a company where they can grow and lead.”

We extend our thanks to the U.S. Department of Labor for this recognition, and even more to the veterans on our team who continue to serve the mission every day through their work at Adapt Forward.

To our veterans: thank you for your service and your continued contributions. We are better because of you.

What Happens When CVE Goes Dark?

The Hidden Threat to DoD Cyber Strategy, Zero Trust, and AI Modernization

In this thought leadership piece, Adapt Forward addresses the urgent need to modernize our national vulnerability intelligence infrastructure. The near-shutdown of the CVE program exposed a systemic fragility in the foundation of Zero Trust, AI-driven defense platforms, and CTEM pipelines. While CVE has served as a critical baseline for decades, it’s no longer sufficient in a world where adversaries move at machine speed. This article breaks down why CVE can’t be sunset overnight—but must evolve into a risk-aware, threat-informed, AI-compatible system. We outline the future: predictive scoring, contextual enrichment, and mission-driven collaboration across public and private sectors.
